Christian Education
Pathways for Scholars is first and foremost a Christian curriculum that seeks to "Train up a child in the way he should go (Proverbs 22:6a)" while bringing honor to our Creator.  A Christian worldview is presented throughout our selected materials and group sessions.

Accountability, Stucture and Guidance
Homeschooling can offer a rich and nurturing learning environment for children.  Pathways for Scholars is designed to complement the home instruction while still offering the structure and accountability that is helpful in developing a strong learner.  Group settings are extremely helpful in many situations.  Planned debates, discussions, experiments, presentations, and performances are a few of the activities that are designed to enhance lessons completed at home.

A Common Thread
Homeschooling parents with children on various levels often find it difficult to keep up with all of the assignments.  Our K-8 program offers an approach to history that allows the family to learn the same topic each week but still let each learner work at an appropriate level.  The read aloud segments offer families time to grow together through a common experience.

Learning Styles
Homeschooling is unique because parents can find the curriculum that best fits a child's learning style.  If you would like to learn more about this and how to determine what type of learning style your child exhibits, visit A Self-Portrait ProfileThere is a fee for this service but a 5.00 discount is offered for those going through the above Pathways link.
