2010-2011 Book Lists
Most of the literature books we read will be books that are available at the library, however, with 10-12 families trying to reserve the same book, you may not get one in time for your student. The local libraries usually carry multiple copies of the Caldecott and Newbery award books but it's a good idea to check these out a few weeks before we begin the book so if you will still have time to order it if you can't get a library copy. Also note that if someone has the book on hold, you will not be allowed to renew it.
Pathways suggest buying the books you will need at once so you won't have to pay multiple shipping costs and won't have to hunt for the book each time we change units.

www.childrensbooksinc.com Get Free novels with a 50.00 purchase. This company is a South Carolina book vendor and is located in Inman, SC near the Greenville/Spartanburg area. They have discounted prices on most of the items needed for Pathways.
www.homeschoolingbooks.com (Use the code: VBHE09RM to get a 3% discount) This site has good prices on the Mystery of History, Apologia Science and YWAM biographies used in our program.
www.readingwarehouse.com This site has good prices on the novels needed for class.
